1:  The OGHPRS is  not a non profit organization, but we will never charge  money(s) for time or services while doing historical research, amature  investigations. We do reserve the right to generate revenue through the  sales of books, DVD's, Training Programs, events, seminars, items of interest, etc,  that have been written, published, produced as oringinal material by members of the OGHRS & friends,  to support the on going work and research. We will not now, or ever use  material  that is bound by copywrite laws with out the express written permission of the owner, author, creator, producer of the same.

By submitting Information, pic's etc to   this site , it is understood that the  same comes with either express consent from the original witnesses/authors or from a reliable and consentual source. Most of the "ghost" or paranormal picutures will come from our members during actual field  investigations.

Although ghosts and hauntings are usually lumped in with other paranormal phenomena,  the OGHPRS  will specialize at this time,  primarily in the study of ghostly phenomena or phenomena related to hauntings.  We do have a strong interest in  Fortean topic's and will explore this area as time and resoures allow. These  "topic's"  can be  discussed  at a general level  in meetings, but this is not our primary  goal at this time.

2:  We are not nor will we  ever  claim to be "experts", "psychics" or "scientists", although   "psychics"   may work with us from time to time. 

   We do not l "clear homes" or "bust ghosts". .   although we do  "hunt them" and  will come  will do an investigation to acertain if there is paranoral enegries or activity and document the same. We may be able to help direct you to those that can "clean or Bust" your Ghosts

We will never break or "bend" a law (such as trespass or "break and enter") to get a "better story" or to do an investigation. We will always work at getting and having the proper permissions and ensure that we have the appropriate authority to enter and look into a reportedly haunted spot. 

We will always ensure the protection of the witness is our first priority with reports. Next is the protection and care of a site that we have been allowed to use.

3: The OGHPRS  will always maintain the anonymity of anyone reporting an occurrences to us. We will never give out or publish exact addresses, e-mail addresses or names of people who write into us unless it is with their authorization and permission or unless the place/person has already "gone public" or previously published that information in a public forum.

4: The  OGHPRS will try to offer those interested in examining and researching the paranormal any assistance we can offer within reason, based upon our limited experience,  and will try to have open forums (as listed on our site) and public gatherings and members meetings to allow those who wish to meet other "ghost enthusiasts" a chance to meet and speak to each other. Although money(s) may be charged or asked for, at some events, and items  sold at the same,   all money(s) that are gathered will go towards paying for the event itself, future events and support costs (servers, domains, etc, etc, etc) and general  expenses, as well as the cost fo the on going work & reasearch.
